About the event
Description
LiDAR data collection coupled with subsurface utility engineering data is a powerful tool for documentation, location, and digitization of assets. Determining the likely location in dense undergrowth is possible with LiDAR collection systems that penetrate dense vegetation. Having a LiDAR collected surface module or DTM that is georeferenced provides a controlled mapping basis for connecting the subsurface data. In return, this creates the ultimate augmented reality of both above and below street view to clients and citizens.
